I am getting a error as Adaptor configuration failed whlie installing dataservices 3.2 designer 12.2.0.0 oracle version is 11g
Kindly guide on how to proceed or let me know if more inputs are required

I would give a try on re-installing the software again 
I feel you would not be able to launch the Data Services Management Console currently. Can you try launching the Management Console and post an update?

I tried re installing but no luck.
As its saying “Adaptor configuration failed”, do we need to install the adptor, if yes please provide the name, version or release?
Also, Is the any services that need to be stopped before starting server installation?
I will like to share we are choosing Tomcat server for web applications while installing BODI.

do you see any log files in the %LINK_DIR%\log folder related to adapter configuration ? if so can you post the errors reports in that file ?

Do you have local admin rights on the system where you are attempting to install the Designer?

I have admin writes on machine. Also in LOG folder in file errorlog.txt I have

Have you created a DI Repository using the Repository Manager?

I ran into an issue with installing 12.2.0.0 on Windows Server 2008 64 bit where we had logged in as a user that was in the administrator group but not we were not logged in as THE administrator. The install failed on a couple of OCX files. We used two work arounds:
- As THE administrator register the OCX files
- Do a RunAs for Designer as THE administrator
