Data Services and SFDC TLS 1.1

Does anyone know what version of SAP Data Services you need to be on to get TLS 1.1 support for SFDC?

We are currently on SAP Data Services 4.2 SP1 Patch 3 (14.2.1.622) and it does not seem as TLS 1.1 is supported. We currently have the SFDC adapter configured and working but it is only TLS 1.0. Is there a way to modify the adapter in our current version for TLS 1.1? If we do need to upgrade what should we upgrade to to get TLS 1.1 support?

SFDC is turning off support for TLS 1.1 in their DEV/QA environments on 6/25/2016. Production is March 2017.

We have the same issue, but with BO DS Version 4.1 (see my other thread)

you can change the DS Adapter version to use JRE 1.8, check the following KBA
