Data Services 4.2 trimming blanks on Dev and not on prod

Hello,

We recently moved to data services 4.2. One of our jobs tested on Dev server behaves differently on prod server. Both servers are windows 2012, Oracle versions are 11g and same designer version. The DS config between the 2 matches as well.

On Dev, the trailing blanks in the VARCHAR is removed when loaded into targets and on Prod its not.

If you have had similar issues, can you please let me know what you did to resolve?

Hi,
Have you checked targets have same datatypes (and have varchar and not char) in both target definitions in BODS and table structure in Oracle DB?

Verify that your DSConfig.txt file has the same settings in both environments.
