Well, if I understand your question correctly, the term “Data Cube” in Business Objects refers to all of the data sets returned by all of the queries in a given document and how they are correlated. To see this, use the Data Manager. The icon on the button for the Data Manager looks like a cube comprised of objects. 8)

I’m not sure what comparible terms are used in other products.
