Dashboarding Options going forward

Hi All,

I’ve been out of the BO world for a while so I’m a little behind the times. :hb:

My company are thinking of implementing Dashboards for the finance department, they have a premium licence so I think all the options are open to them.

So here are the options for 3.1 (PLEASE correct me if I’m wrong)

  • Dashboard Builder (basically just showing webi reports)
  • Dashboard Builder + Xcelsius (webi reports and xcelsius)
  • Xcelsius Standalone
  • Performance Manager

Is it too PM is at end of life? Is it still available in 3.1?

Also, will dashboard builder & xcelsius be available in SAP BI 4.0???

Your sales rep can give you the most accurate info, but here’s what I know:

BO Premium includes Dashboard Manager and Performance Manager, but not Xcelsius.

The portion of Dashboard Manager that is used to display dasboards (including Xcelsius and other content) will continue to be supported. The other parts of DM/PM (metrics, analytics, goals management) is desupported as of this year, but it is still included in XI3.
