I had created Xcelsius dashboard using Live Office. I had set up all properties in Xcelsius data manager (Usage tab). Everything is working fine while dashboard is running from Desktop. I meant data is refreshing from database while dashboard is running from desktop. But once I published dashboard (SWL file) in to server data is not refreshing from database. It is showing last updated data only. Any idea? I am using BO XI 4.0 SP5 and Dashboard 2008.

Is the dashboard based on a universe based query? If so have you published to BOE?
To be frank you would be better dropping Live Office out of the picture altogether and use BIWS (Business Intelligence Web Service) instead.

Have you scheduled the Webi report to refresh on a schedule in InfoView/LaunchPad ?
Have you set the LiveOffice connection to “use latest instance of the report” ?
If you want it to pull the latest data, then you have to schedule the report and then use the instance in your dashboard.
