I have create a dashbaord report with QAAWS connection to pull data from SAP BW Query (the query contain data column and prompt variable to allow user select date range).
Steps:
create BW query include data column and variable (test run the query and successfully return result)
create universe connection and universe using SAP Business Warehouse (test run the universe to create webi report and successfully return result in webi report)
create dashboard data connection using Web Services Query (QAAWS) but when i try to preview the dashboard report, it’s appear error message:
Please click on the QaaWS link first and test the same in the browser of your choice or simply copy the link from the QaaWS application to the clipboard and try to access it.
If you get a page in xml style stating the various tags used on clicking on the link, then your QaaWS connection is fine and ready to return data.
In that case you need to properly connect to the QaaWS link using the BW user ID and password which needs to be fed via QaaWS.
Also, kindly ensure that all the requisite parameters are properly mapped.
If there is an issue with that another pop-up will be coming up stating invalid prompt or something on the same lines.
