Can I add a check box to ‘Select All’ the values from list of values through VBA Script to the Prompt box? Is that possible? If yes, how do I attach that script to the report? Any suggestions folks.
Thanks
Ravi.

You cannot add a check box to the prompt dialog box. But you could design your own Prompt dialog box. If you want to a generic prompt box, it might get very complicated. If it is for a specific report (or few reports) you could design the forms for accpting prompt values and polpulate the variables and refresh from the vba script.
You must have seen some postings suggesting the use of OR clause in the where condition to achieve the Optional prompts. That will be the easiest way of implementing optional prompts. But when you consider performance you are in soup. We have a table with just 7 million rows. When we run a query with some conditions i get back the result in seconds but when I specify OR clause I have to wait for hours.
In such scenario, it’s really worth designing custom prompt boxes.
