Customer Name starts with = sign?

Hi,

when iam extracting the data from SAP R/3 Some customers names are displaying as #Name?. When I look at the field directly, it looks like the name starts with =++____ but when I compare to SAP, I just see ++_____. Can you please determine why the = is being added to the front and prevent that from happening?

Could you explain in detail with a customer number? It was not clear there.
