custom function library not accessible in Crystal Reports

we imported our custom function from XI R2 to 4.0. the Upgrade management tool created a copy of the Custom Functions folder in the repository.

all reports with custom functions still work fine so dependency are in place.

the problem we have is we can’t access this copy of Custom Functions folder in Crystal Reports 2011.

so we can’t add any custom functions to new reports, can’t modify custom functions, and any report that has custom functions looses them when loaded into CR.

how can i move all our custom functions into the correct custom functions folder without loosing an depencies?

or how can’t we get Crystal Reports to see the “copy of Custom Functions” folder?

<<<we can’t re-import. we are live in 4.0 and can’t go back and get custom functions without breaking dependecy to the report objects or importing old versions of reports into the system.>>>

We are running into the same problem here. Did you find a solution to this?

Yes,

using business view manager, we exported each custom function to a file and imported it back into the correct folder.

you have to do each custom function one at a time, but it worked. didn’t take very long.
