We have a requirement to rebrand all of our reports in terms of look and feel.
I have one requirement to show color of lines, bars in graphs in specific order. I am able to acheive it by editing the color pallette and by selcting it. However, all of my team members have to use the same pallette.
Is there any way that my custom palette can appear along with standard palette??
I don’t have access to check if this works by setting the pallette in server. Appreciate your inputs.
Yes, there is one way you could do that. You can set your custom color palette as default palette so that everyone can use it without having to change the palette. You need to have good set of colors list with you though. If you have one, for next step go to this link.
I have a major issue related to Custom pallete in Bo 4.1 v5
I have Products on Legend/series , Year on X axis and Revenue measure on Y axis. I also have a dynamic Year prompt which brings in 4 years of data every time.
Example - if I select 2011, will get data for 2011,2012,2013,2014.
Now the Product highest in sales should be assigned Green, 2nd highest yellow, 3rd Red etc. I achieved this using custom pallette for Year 2014
Problem is as soon as I change year , My custom palletet changes for 2011, 2012 and 2013 and catches default pallette.
My mistake, I did not mention its a chart, so I doubt alerts would work on it.
As the year changes it picks up some random palette.
I thought BO custom palette in 4.1 was good and assign colors for highest product group as green, 2nd as orange based on my sorting which it does but unsure when year changes it .palette no longer gets applied
