CrystalEnterprise.DiskUnmanaged: Access is denied

Hi all,

I have a number of reports scheduled to run via the scheduler in Infoview. I have set them to save in excel format to a specific file location on a shared drive. The file location I have used is in the form \servername\sharedfolder\ .It’s a Windows server.

However I get the intermittent error

CrystalEnterprise.DiskUnmanaged: Access is denied

Sometimes the reports run successfully and save as expected but at least one of them returns this error everyday.

Does anyone have any ideas what could be causing this?

Kind regards.

Declan.

Hi,

I am also facing a similar kind of issue, reproducible every time.

I need to schedule a report to be dispatched to a shared drive.

I have enabled unmanged disk drive from CMC have given the destination location as \btg116892\bodatafiles. Also I have given a username and password that have write access to the shared drive.

However when I schedule a report from infoview to be dispatched to the location mentioned above the following error is given :

login error. CrystalEnterprise.DiskUnmanaged: Logon failure: unknown user name or bad password.

Please let me know where am I going wrong.

Try this:
We have found out the following. When you schedule a deskI report, the user under which account the schedule runs, needs the deskI application right “Save Desktop Intelligence Documents”.
Strange

Hello,

I had the same pb; I have changed the destination folder and it’s okay.
I think the solution is to check the user group, and their right of execution on the folder you want to export the BO extract.
the user you used to schedule need to have “Full Control” on the folder

Bye
