Crystal Reports XIr2 export to pdf.

Hello Members,
I have a report which has an image (picture of a person). The image is displayed properly on the Crystal reports application. When ever i display it on XIR2 viewer, there is loss of quality in the image. It happens even when i export the report to pdf. Is there any solution to resolve this issue ? Are there any registry settings that i have to do to display the image on viewer properly ?

Thanks a lot in Advance!!

I have used Crystal Reports since version 4.0 and have seen this same issue in every version. It was explained to me this way: Crystal Reports is a higher quality product than the software packages into which a report can be exported. Other tools like Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Word cannot deliver the same high quality resolution that Crystal can deliver.

If there is another tool that can deliver a higher resolution image via Crystal, I would love to hear about it.

I have been playing around with this in CR-2008 and BOE-3.1 and the quality of image export seems pretty good in PDF format.

That is strange, I have been using Crystal Reports since 8.5 and rarely have seen the issues that has been reported exporting to PDF. I always have the latest version of Adobe Reader installed.
