Crystal Reports for Enterprise - Data source is invalid

Hi,

We are trying to create some Crystal Reports using Crystal Reports for Enterprise in BO4.

Can see the universes fine (.unx fiels) but can’t create any reports against them - when try any universe it says Data source is invalid.

Can create reports fine against these universes (unx files) in Web Intelligence.

Any ideas/Thoughts?

Upgraded to SP4 and resolved the issue.

Was on BO4 SP2. now BO4 SP4

Hi Philipo,

On my side even after SP4 upgrade seeing the same error. Did you do anything else apart from SP4 upgrade to fix this issue.

Hi Raj,

Not on the client itself but had to install 32 bit oracle client on the server to get them to work via BI launchpad.

Apparently Crytsal needs 32 bit libraies.
