Leaving the fact that Crystal Reports for Enterprise will be deprecated aside, we currently have an issue with an upgraded report sending an alert.
The Crystal Reports for Enterprise report was/is working fine in our BI4.2 environments. (We haven’t completed our upgrade yet.)
After upgrading to BI4.3, the alerts are not being emailed. I did have to re-enable the custom email configuration. Alerting is configured and enabled in the Alerting Application. Sending emails as a destination is functional in the BI4.3 environment.
The alert is being triggered, I can see this in the history details for when the report runs. The alert is based on there being data in the report.
I’m not sure what else to check at this point.
