Crystal Reports clipping text with PDF export

Interesting problem I found today…

I have a crystal report deployed to CR Server 2011 and when I view it with the CR viewer within infoview it works perfect. However when I push it to PDF it clips the right margin text. It is like the PDF generation is rendering the text slightly larger than the CR 2008 server thus resulting in clipping.

Has anyone seen anything like this before?

I have also faced the same issue. Work around is place the field inside a text box, select Can Grow option also. This will solve the problem.
