Crystal Reports and Live Office

I have written a crystal report with 4 groups in it. At each group level, I have the repeating group names (for all 4 group headers) then some values that are summed up at each level. I have done it this way specifically for Xcelsius design. The crystal looks like this when exported to excel:

VP1 Region Pres1 District Man1 Store1 Value1 Subtotal
VP1 Region Pres1 District Man1 Store2 Value1 Subtotal
VP1 Region Pres1 District Man1 ALL Stores Value1 Subtotal VP1 Region Pres1 District Man2 Store3 Value1 Subtotal
VP1 Region Pres1 District Man2 Store4 Value1 Subtotal
VP1 Region Pres1 District Man2 ALL Stores Value1 Subtotal
VP1 Region Pres1 ALL Districts ALL Stores Value1 Subotal
–> same for Regional Pres2…
–> same for VP2…

This exports nicely in this exact format when exporting to Excel via Crystal Reports, however, I don’t understand how to get this exact format when scheduling this crystal in BO an retrieving it in Excel via Live Office.

Any suggestions?

Did you solve this already? I have a similar problem.

I created a Crystal Report with two groups. When using this report with Live Office in order to use this in Xcelsius suppressed rows come up in the excel part. Using only Live Office with excel gives the same “double” rows.

It seams that suppressed rows in Crystal are coming through using Live Office! I am looking for a solution for this…
