I am trying to create a map in Crystal Report which need to show different cities of US.
In the Map component of the report, when I am going to right click–> layers, I can see US cities over there.
But this layer is actually not working because going to right click–>resolve mismatch (available maps) doesnt have anything like US cities map(it just have USA, USA Capitals not good to fulfill the purpose).
Is there a way I can import US cities map in the report or do I need to bought some additional maps (Please write the site or link from where I need to buy).
This first thing to check is whether all the map or “Geographic Mapping” elements were installed with the rest of Crystal Reports. They do not install by default. Many who install the program do a “Typical” install. You will only get the full geographic module by doing a “Custom” installation and then deliberately selecting the “Geographic Mapping” feature for installation.

A step ahead importing the data from the mapinfo, but its not getting showed in the Map.
A little strangely I am getitng the table for US 8k cities, but Map is available only for US state and US capitals but what I want is map for the US cities…which is available in the mapinfo imported data but no way to integrate that map in the crystal report map component…
so finally its same condition that layers are showing the 8k cities (USA city) but in resolve conflict no US city map is available.
Is there a way to integrate the us city map to map component of the crystal report…
I have tried it through C:\Program Files\Business Objects\MapInfo MapX\Program (migm30.exe) but its just regestering table again not the map.
