Crystal report to create multiple pdf files

Hi

I am exploring the possibility of a Crystal report where it creates multiple document output.

Eg: Payroll application; we are creating payslips and we want the output as PDF FIles, one for each employee.

Is that possible at all in Crystal (without running the report for each employee - an impractical solution :hb:

How would you be running the report? Do you already have Enterprise?
If you have Enterprise, you can look at a tool from APOS called Bursting Manager. www.apos.com
If you are not using Entperprise, I highly suggest using a tool called VisualCUT from Millet Software: www.milletsoftware.com
This tool is only 300 USD, and it gives you so much bang for you buck.
It will allow you to run your report with all Employee data, then burst it into individual PDFs, which could then be emailed to those employees, if you like.

Thanks for the very valuable input.

We use Enterprise XI moving into Release 2.

We did evaluate APOS (mostly for administrative purposes) but their costs seem to be on the higher side.

I will take a look at the Millet software tool. Really appreciate your input…

One followup question.

The demo and all pertaining information relates to Seagate Crystal Reports. DOes this software work with Crystal Reports XI. ?
