Crystal Report Title based off of Field or variable

I was wondering if it was possible to have the title (actual title field from summary info) of a Crystal Report be populated with a specific field or variable.

I’m trying to have the report scheduled, and saved as PDF, but want the title for each report to be based off of a report field that will let the business distinguish one document from another.

Try to use the ‘display string’ from the common tab of the format editor for the ‘report title’ special field. Here you can insert a formula field / variable/ fld.

That’s changing the report title, but not the PDF file name that is generated from the “Title” box in the Summary Info… Document Properties, when the report is scheduled.

BO says that it’s not possible… just wanted to see if anyone has any other tricks.
