Crystal report 2011 and Crystal Report40

Hi All,
can I install Crystal report 2011 and Crystal report 40 on the same
machine ?
If not which are the differences beetwen Crystal report 2011 and Crystal
report 40? I’m oriented to install only Crystal report 40.

I have not heard of CR 40! There is a Crystal Report designer for the server now (pretty much can only have a universe for a data source). It only runs on BOXI 4.

Please clarify.

There is Crystal Reports for Enterprise 4.0, completely rewritten (JAVA), can only use UNX universes.

If I understand the question correctly. You can install Crystal Reports 11 ( Designer) and Crystal Enterprise 4.0 on the same server (of course you would have SAP BO 4 on that server also).

Just remember that Crystal Reports 11 is pretty much a stand alone product and uses 32 bit ODBC connection not the 64-bit connections that Crystal Enterprise 4.0 will want.
