Hi,
I noticed a difference between Crystal Reports 2008 version 12.0.0.683 and 12.5.0.1190.
When creating a crosstab, the second column shows ‘Total’. When clicking on its header and choose: ‘Calculated member’ -> ‘Insert child’, on 12.0.0.683 a new column will be shown right of the ‘Total’ column. On 12.5.0.1190 when clicking ‘Insert child’, no extra column will be created.
When opening a report which is created in 12.5.0.1190 and opened in 12.0.0.683, the ‘Add child’-column will become invisible when making any changes to the report.
Does anyone know what is the purpose of the ‘Insert child’ function? The 2 versions of CR I mentioned both have different behaviour.
