Crystal Licence?

Hi all,

apologies for what is probably a very dumb question…

I have BO 4.1 installed, I am trying to use the Crystal button on the launch pad. It tells me I need to download ‘Crystal Reports for Enterprise’ which is a .bclp’ file…so windows cannot open this file- I dont have what this file needs to open.

So I downloaded SAP ‘CRYSTAL REPORTS FOR ENTERPRISE 4.1 SP05 WINDOWS (32B)’ and tried to install, but when I get to the part where I fill in the licence, it does not accept the key that we have for ‘SAP BusinessObjects’

So is the Crystal part something extra that we would need to pay for an extra licence for?

Thanks,

Jen.

Do you have a license for Crystal Report client (Crystal Reports 2013)? From what I can recall we have BI 4.0 and we had to use our Crystal Report 2011 license to get it activated.

Crystal for Enterprise is an extension of the BI4.x platform, you`d have to install the application as well as have a license.

Thanks for the replies.

Ok, so I dont think we really have a business case for paying for a Crystal licence as all we are actually trying to do was test if we could open and run crystal reports via another system. I dont suppose there is a trial?

Thanks,

There are temporary license keys you can download from the SAP Support Site if you have access and permission to request license keys.

Hi Jenm,

We have a similar requirement and I was checking SAP marketplace but not able to find “CRYSTAL REPORTS FOR ENTERPRISE 4.1 SP05 WINDOWS (32B)” download. Can you please share the path from where I can find the same?
