Crystal for Enterprise Unable to connect to the InfoStore

Hi there,

I am using BOXI 4.1 and have just installed Crystal Reports for Enterprise. However when I try to create a report connecting to a universe I receive the following error:

The data source is invalid: 'Unable to connect to the InfoStore : '. Please contact the maintainer of the data source to solve the problem.

Any ideas?

Thanks for the reply judia but I had already checked this post. I am not able to create the report in the first place so can’t change the settings on it.

Please help me, i am getting the same error as esinclair was facing.
When i am creating a report using CR ent version and connecting to IDT unx, getting the same error.

I’m getting above error in CRE 4.1 sp6 when try to connect to universe. Can you please let me know the resolution for this. Above link is not working.

I do not know what was in the the link. But two things always gets in the way when using universes for us. The user must have at least ‘View on Demand’ rights for the connection and the universe.

Thank you for the response kevlray.

I was getting error when login as an administrator into CRE designer.

The issue is resolved now as I have restarted 32bit and 64bit connection server which resolves the issue.
