I have encountered a strange error when trying to open a .rpt file (a Crystal Report with only an one-line label in it) - when double-clicking the .rpt file, Crystal Reports will launch then immediately close. Right-clicking the file then choose “open with” Crystal Report will do the same thing. However, if I open Crystal Report program first, then choose “Open”, the .rpt file can be opened without any problem (Crystal will not close).
Anyone has seen this behavior before? I’m using XIR2 SP2. This just started happening recently. Not all the .rpt files would cause the same problem.
