I am using Crystal 2011 SP2 patch 8 on SAP 7.20
when i create a report and get fields into the report and then preview it i dont see any values.
I see that the records fetched shows about 1000 but done see any values displayed.
it just shows blank rows without displaying any data.
I have uninstalled SP2 Patch 8 and just tried to use crystal 2011 but that didnt help.
this only happens when using SAP ECC as a data source.
We don’t have any integration KIt for Crystal 2011 since it is not required for Crystal 2011 version.
I don’t know the answer but here are a few questsions…
What happens when you ‘browse data’ - dDo you see data then? Is this a brand new report? Does it affect all reports? Have you ever successfully produced a report against SAP? Do others get the same results as you? Have you tried from another machine?
it required loading SAP Crystal Reports 2011 transports into the SAP BW system.
You can find these transports DATA_UNITS >CrystalReports>Collaterals>Add-Ons>SAP> Transports.
Here you can find Unicode transports. Based on your requirement you will load these transports into the SAP ECC system with your BASIS Administrator.
Below are the Unicode transport files provided by SAP with the installation media for Business Objects 4.0, we requested our BASIS team to load in ECC and BW.
