Crystal 2008 - Web Services

Hi,

I am trying to connect Crystal 2008 to a Web Service, as a data source.

I am able to login to the webservice, and select the tables in the query panel.

But when I finally say Finish, it throws me this error.

“Failed to retrieve data from the database.
Cannot determine the queries necessary to get data for this report.
Details: Cannot access web service
Encoded use is not supported”

Can anyone help me on this?

Did you find a solution to this problem? We are having the same problem. Our web services works fine with Xcelsius 2008 but not CR 2008 or XI.

Thanks in advance for any ideas you have come up with.

Does anybody have an answer to this question?? we have the same issue in CR 2008…
