cross tab showing multiple values

hi i have a crosstab report in deski(.it uses universe as data provider)which shows,description vs. date n count.means on a particular date in particular stage what is the count.
example:
Description 20-Oct-09 21-Oct-09 22-Oct-09 23-Oct-09 Total
A 10 60
A 20 60
A 30 60
B
B
C
C
C

it’s showing the crosstab like this.
but i don’t want the counts for different dates in different column.
i want the crosstab in following format.

Description 20-Oct-09 21-Oct-09 22-Oct-09 23-Oct-09 Total
A 10 20 30 60
B
C

.so how cani display the data in this manner.
can anyone help me.

Did you want to attach a quick sample excel and deski file to clarify what you are looking for ? Someone might be able to help you faster with that ?
