Creating Universe by using Flat file?

I have a flat file,buy using this flat file i want to create universes.How can i create universe by using Flat File?

Actually what flat file contain?

Any one can explain me?

Is your flat file an excel file? which version of BO you are using?

At the same time pls seach the BOB there are many posts regarding this.

Hi I need to build some reports on data that I receive as CSV files. I was thinking the best approach would be to create a universe based on these csv files (as i need to report using data from more than one csv file). Can anyone guide me on how to do this ?
