creating external/custom functions in WebIntelligence 6.1

Hi,

I have several count functions created and compiled as an external function in version 6.

2 questions on this:

  • can I have these functions available while creating ‘wid’ documents too - similar to the functionality accessible in FC docs
  • we also get an error log in the extfunc.txt file in the UserLibs folder for each function saying that it already exists – somehow BO is reloading? these functions for each session? note that the functions are still usable and error-free when creatng FC docs.

Could you please throw some light on the above.

this is something I am also really interested in doing - did you ever manage to get an answer?

What I would like to do (BO 6.1b and WebI6) is to have a custom function available on the server available for use by all users in their WebI reports.

FYI, the function would be used to calculate business days :stuck_out_tongue:

Can anybody provide some insights in this?
is it at all possible? what needs to be done?
