create custom comonents in flex for xcelsius

Hi,
I am novice in this topic. I have flash builder 4.6 and Xcelsius 4 with SP04.
I want to create custom component and export it in dashboards4.

I read some texts and tutorials about it. Everywhere was the same. Build with Adobe Flex SDK 2.0.1 Hotfix 3 only. But adobe builder 4.6 don’t support it.

I try create xlx file with dashboard add-on manager using samples from Xcelius samples. I crate file xlx (hslider). But when a take it a put on canvas in dashboard it doesn’t work, because slider wasn’t on canvas.
I don´t know programing in flex, but I watch some videos and read text.
I try using default property sheet - PropertyInspector.swf. But it doesn’t work.

My question is: It is possible create and build custom component with flex SDK 4.6 and export it for Xceslius?

You have to use the supported Flex version. You dont have a choice.

Thanks. But i read this manual

and it is possible with SDK 4.0. I did all the steps. When I import .xlx file into dashboard I see it, but when I want to place the HSlider on canvas so there is not display.
Can anyone advise me where the error can be?

just curious…but in your original post you said you were using 4.6…and the manual says use 4.0?

Are you thinking that 4.6 is supported? Maybe Im confused. Did you try your steps with 4.0?

Yes I have flash builder 4.6 and I did whit SDK 4.6. Doesn´t it work in dasboard. It is not supported. Dut I downloaded SDK 4.0 a try it only compiled.
I try used compile swf and export release build swf in dashboard addon packager. I created xlx filee and imported to dashboar. I saw my addon. But if I want to drag on drop my HSlider on canvas it doesn´t work.
It isn´t on canvas.

I didn´t try used adobe flash 4.1 but I will try.
