CR2008 - report has duplicated section in design view?

I am modifying a Crystal 2008 report. When I open the design view, there are two sections side by side. The left half of the page has a white background, and is editable. The right half of the page has a light blue background, and is a copy of the information on the left half of the page. If I make a change on the left side, the info changes on the right side. I cannot edit anything on the right side. In preview mode, I only see one set of information.

I am trying to stretch a text box so that it reaches past the halfway mark on the page, but because of the light blue section, I cannot. What is this blue section, and how can I delete it?

It may be a mailing labels report.
To increase the width or height, you can go to Design View --> Section Expert --> Click Details(section and NOT Details a or Details b …) and then select layout tab on right… increase or decrease the height.
