CR XI R2

building reports crystal reports

I have CR XI installed and have full access to all the tables I need in the DW, but I don’t see the tables listed in database expert under the connection.

Has anyone dealt with this or do you remember a post about it? I think it is some setting, either db or CR.

P.S. I know I have access to the tables becasue I can write a SQL command and it pops into the report design grid.

hi,

Create an ODBC connection for your SQL. Under the report use the ODBC as your connection then check the database explorer if the table still dont exist

Hi,

Please try the following:

  1. Go to File menu>> Options.
  2. Click Database tab.
  3. In the Data Explorer check Tables, Views and so on check boxes.
  4. Ensure Table name Like and Owner Like text boxes are empty.
  5. Click OK.
  6. Close Crystal Reports and reopen it.
