Count with multiple condition

Hi expert,

I am creating report with multiple condition.

Example city,school , class and shift.

Delhi, New era, 2nd and shift morning (student) 10
Delhi, holi, 2nd and shift morning (student) 20
Delhi, idel, 2nd and shift morning (student) 15
Delhi, sumati, 2nd and shift evening (student) 24
Delhi, New era, 2nd and shift evening (student) 18
Delhi, holi, 2nd and shift evening (student) 67
Delhi, idel, 2nd and shift evening (student) 78
Delhi, sumati, 2nd and shift evening (student) 59

I require totally student count and total .

If the numbers at the end of the row are the numbers of students and you want a total just sum them.

Yes with given condition.

Like Delhi new era total sum

Delhi 2nd shift total sum
Delhi morning total sum

= sum( [studentcount] ) where( [city] = “Delhi” and [school] = “New era” )

Hi dtolley, sorry to say,
Result is getting blank if i use same formula.

Make sure what’s in the quotes matches your data exactly. Capitalization, spacing, punctuation all matter.

…or you can work with sections for ‘school’ and ‘class and shift’.
This way you get totals per section and a grantotaal at the end.
