Could not see the OLAP Cubes through WEB I

Hi,

I am trying to connect to the MS Analysis services OLAP cubes through Web I but I am getting following error:

Connection Failed. (Error: WIO 0010)

Connection attempted to: xxxxxxxxx

Error Description: Unable to connect. Possible causes: Authentication, Insufficient Privileges, Server is Busy, or Server is not connected to network.

I am able to connect through Full client.

I am using BO 6.5.2

Any body faced this kind of problem…

I am facing the same issue and I believe it is due to not having the correct OLAP-source drivers installed on the server.

As usual, documentation is pretty much nonexistent :reallymad:

I would check the WebI server connectivity to the OLAP server. Check if you have the OLAP client properly installed on the WebI server. You need at least the MS PivotTable Service, or the Analysis Service Client installed on the server (PivotTable comes with Analysis Service). If you do have MS Analysis Service installed on the WebI server, try to connect from there, outside of the BO. If not, have either Analysis Service client or PivotTable Service installed on the server (PivotTable Service can be downloaded form Microsoft (PTSSETUP.exe).
