Does anyone know what the Core40.dll file has in relation to Business Objects?
A few of our PCs were getting the error message stating Bad username or password. I found out that it was because those PCs had an EDI program installed which overwrote this file causing Business Objects to fail.
Any information is appreciated.

I did a search on my NT 4.0 workstation as well as a NT 4.0 server. I did not find any copies of Core40.dll. I also did a search from the MSDN Library with no hits. It sounds like this may be spicific to an application installed on these PC’s.
You might want to take a look at the PC’s that are having this problem and find out what is common between them. Are they all using the same software and service Packs?
