Consume Flash Variables from Sharepoint into SWF file

Hi there,

We are hosting a swf file on the sharepoint. The swf file has to consume flash variables (SAMID, User ID) from sharepoint.

Do i need to install any xcelsius webpart for this?
How do i consume the flash variables from sharepoint?

You can set up a flash connection in xcelsius that will read in your flash variable and process it.

Thanks Debbie. Do i need a xcelsius sharepoint webpart? And will i need a parent child to consume the flash variables from sharepoint.

Sorry, I have no idea. I host my html dashboards from an intranet that is running on sharepoint. Any flash variables generated I just import into xcelsius using a flash connection (doesn’t matter if they are parent or child dashboards as all mine are the same level and I load “children” via the url component and pass the flash variables on the end of the url).
