I am creating a date constant table in Business Object 6.0, I had created from Microsoft SQL server, but users want it created as a dimension, tried the same syntax but it does not work …
Some of the constants are as follows:
Today’s Date
Start of Last Month
End Of Last Month
Start of Current Month
End Of Current Month
A Year Ago Today
Year Before End of Previous Month
3 Months Before Start of This Month
Two Years Ago Previous Month
Yesterday
13 months Before Month End
Any help will be appreciated as I am new to Business Objects
How do i set this up in Business Objects as a dimension? The users want this done as a dimension and not on the database level…Inorder to allow the dates to be dynamic…
Use the codes in the link Marek gave you and create an object for each of them. They won’t parse but will work with other objects in queries. I have a “universe” of just date objects which I link in to other universes so I don’t have to keep recreating them.
