Consolidation of Business Objects Instances

Hi Everyone,

Currently we have multiple instances of BO XI R2, in different countries using the same universe(name) and their respective local data.

Is being considered the consolidation of the applications / data into a single data center with individual instances (no modification to the applications to become multi-country will be done as part of the first step)

To allow it universe will need to be renamed (different connection information per country), impacting all the existing reports.

Is there any easy way of relinking reports to a universe in a massive way? Or can only be done 1 by 1?

It looks like you need to create connection overloads for the universe (you will do it in the universe) and then assign groups (users in the country belongs to the group) to each connection overload. Once the user logs in he will use appropriate connection.
