Connecting to a BOXi Universe from Crystal XIr2

Hi Forum,

When I try to create a new Crystal XIR2 Report using a Universe as the connection, I can log into Enterprise and see all the Universes I have created in Designer. However, when I select one, I get an error message after a couple of minutes which reads:-

“All the servers with CMS , cluster @ and kind webiserver are down or disabled.”

Followed by another error message which reads:-

“Unknown Database Connector Error”

Do I need to fiddle around with server command lines in the Central Config Manager?

Any help appreciated.

hi,
For this error “All the servers with CMS , cluster @ and kind webiserver are down or disabled.”
just to go cmc—>servers and check if all the servers are enabled or not.
I think that might be problem.

Thanks Nivas, I wish it was that simple! I checked all servers were OK before posting the initial thread and they are all up and running. Thanks.

im getting this exact same erorr. did you have a solution for this? was this firewall related?

You checked whether the servers were up and running, however, they can still be running and disabled. BOXI has 2 levels you see, stopped\started and enabled\disabled.
