i am trying to configure tomcat app server 3.2.3 with my wibean,in that process i got the documentation and did the configuration as required. But in this i wanted to use wijsp as my sample application which they asked me to put under examples context.I did
accordingly…but it is not working! in the wijsp documentation, they have given how to put the sample wijsp in JSWDK app server only. they haven’t given for anyother server. i think so i am missing only in that part because in that he has configured some properties files and webserver.xml file which is not there in tomcat!
can anyone help me in this…
thanks,
sandeep.
Hi sandeep,
What is the OS on which you are trying to configure tomcat. What is the exact error is it giving.
You can try to check whether you are able to log into your normal WebI using tomcat.
Are you using anyother webserver on top of tomcat or tomcat is your webserver also.
In NT you don’t have to configure the webserver.xml just put the WIJSP file in the webapps folder and it will automatically create a context once you restart the server.
In Unix you will have to add another context in webserver.xml similar to the one they have for example to make it working.
Hope this helps…
