I took a look at some of the other threads, but didn’t find any comparisons between Crystal Reports vs. Oracle BI Publisher.
At first glance, Oracle BI Publisher looks a lot like the Microsoft Reporting Services concept - using XML to extract a DB-query that can be inserted into a Word, Excel or Acobat “layout template”.
Based on that, I would assume that the options are much more limited than Crystal for on-report processing/formatting, and doesn’t provide optional sub-reports, etc.
Anyone had any experience in comparing these tools - and willing to share your pros and cons…?
