communication failure with windows 64 bit

Hy

we have this architecture :

server BO XI 3.1 : AIX 5.3 LPAR (1 partiton BOXI R2 CMS on port 6400, 1 partition BOXI3.1 CMS port on 6500)
server WIN 2003 sp2 64 bit with BOXI client tools

when we run client tools (designer, deski…) the ‘communication failure’ message appear.

request port are ok
ping is ok
Tracert is ok
No Firewall …

this work fine with another server win 2003 32 bit…

have you ideas?

What is you CMS database?

Also, check if the Database client version is same on both the windows server (32 bit or 64 bit).
