Hi,
I need to create a chart which looks like combination of column and XY chart much like Combination chart without the line. Can anybody suggest if and how this can be done.

Sorry for the late response.
If you create a combination chart with an empty data point between each real data point, this should give you the result you want.
Downside is that it’ll make your bars thinner.

tht works perfectly…thanq…just one another workaround I would need…any way I can change the marker to a small horizontal line instead of 3 r 4 shapes we have in the properties

You MIGHT be able to pull something like that off with a stacked column chart layered underneath. You’d have to hard code the scales so that match up, and configure the stacked column so that there’s a white bar indicating “empty space” and then the colored bar for the value.
Could maybe look decent, depending on the theme of the dashboard. Most of the themes apply gradients in the columns. That would ruin the effect. You need a theme with no gradients.
I’d stick with one of the stock markers if possible.
