Hi all,
I was wondering if it is possible to combine SAP and Windows AD authetication. For example: Use Windows AD authentication/SSO for logging into InfoView and when logged into InfoView use SAP authentication/SSO when running reports based on a SAP data source?

You need installed certificates (SNC) for your configuration.

Were you able to automatically map the SAP alias to your LDAP alias or Enterprise account? We have the SNC configured and it works if we manually assign the SAP alias to the LDAP account in CMC, but I would like to have it map auto like LDAP does with Enterprise.

You have to import the SAP users without the pre syntax. For example the SAP users are coming in as
BD2~100/AC726
the AD users are coming into CMC as
AC726
These will not match. There is a registry setting that allows the SAP users to come into CMC without the pre text.
Registry setting:
1 Open the registry editor
2 Browse to the key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Business 3Objects\Suite 12.0\SAP\Authentication\
4 Double-click SimpleUsernameFormat and change the value to Yes
5 Go into CMC authentication and remove the SAP roles, click update.
6 Reimport the SAP roles click update
Users should now be automatically aliased if you chose “automatically import users” in options.
If not they should alias when a user logs in for the first time
