Combination of Stacked Column chart with Line Chart

Hi All,

I am new to Crystal Xcelsius.

We have a requirement of graph which contains a combination of Stacked column chart with multiple lines in it.

I have checked all the available charts but not found this. Please let me know if anyone has came across the similar issue.

You’ll need to layer your charting. This involves creating the stacked bar chart, then putting a line chart directly over top of it (make sure you turn the background off). This process involves a lot of pixel pushing and axis futzing to get right and remain scalable, but is completely possible.

I would argue, however, that the choice to use a visualization like that may not be the most effective way to depict the data. Hard to say.

Thanks Andyafco for your input and have implemented it working fine.

We have a requirement of 2 dimensions and 3 measures to place in a graph so for that reason why we want a Stacked column chart with 3 lines over it.

Hi,

Anyone knows if a Stacked Bar + multiple lines is available at the last version in Dashboard Design ot whatever they call it now? :wink:

It does not appear to be. We are just starting testing on the latest version.
