Columns sorting in XIr2

I want to sort alphabetically the columns in a table in Designer.

I know of the parameter COLUMNS_SORT = Yes, but this does not seem to affect exiting tables. Does it only work for new tables ?

if so, how do you sort existing tables ?

I’m not sure if the technique works with XI, but may this VBA trick can help.

I was looking for the solution on this as well and found it here.

The one thing the thread is missing is that you need to Refresh Structure after making the parameter change in order to update existing table.column sorts.

This solution doesn’t work in XI 3.1. Once you change the parameter and save, then do a refresh it doesn’t change the order.
