COBOL MAINFRAME Flat File with COMP data

Hi

I have a flat file which is from COBOL mainframe.
I was told that few of the columns (which are numeric type) which are not readable and not in ASCII format are the columns from source system and are in COMP-1,2 & 3 formats. :hb:

Can you please help me how to convert those column values using BODS to ASCII numbers ?

I will greatly appreciate quick help.
Should I ask client to provide COBOL copy book instead of flat file ?
