CMS database down

Hi all,

If the CMS database down, I need to setup an automatic email notification which should go to the Admin.

As and when the CMS goes down, the email should go to the Admin automatically saying that CMS is down.
How can i configure this?

If you are using Windows Server, you can write some script to monitor the Event Viewer log for this activity.
