Is it possible to set up access rights where groups are able to create reports only for the universe specified - however still be able to only view reports that they do not have access to create reports with.

I seem to be having trouble with this, as i have created a group and given them access to create web intelligence documents, however i do not want them to be able to create reports with every universe. The universe’s that i dont want them to create reports with, I’ve given them ‘view on demand access’ dispite this, they still are able to view the universes and also create a report with them.

In short, in XI 3.x the answer is yes … otherwise no. There is an additional granular right new to XI 3.x that specifically controls whether a user can create / edit queries against a specific universe.
